Disagree here. GTO is faster and I would rather have one. But the interior and exterior of the GTO looks like shit. The 01 Cobra looks much better inside and out. IMO

I do agree that the exterior of the 01 Cobra is better looking, but that's my opinion. I do think the interior of the GTO looks better, but what I meant in my first post by 'WAY better interior' is the quality. Not so much the actual looks and aesthetics. I've spent plenty of seat time in both the New Edge Mustang and the GTO, and the fit, finish, and quality is hands down better in the Pontiac. Which is almost weird to say. I suppose some will disagree, but I don't really see how. I've never been impressed with New Edge Mustang interior quality at all.

The mustang yes does look good from the outside.

However inside the gto whips ass.
The seating position is great. the shifter is crisp with a short throw and in a good location, I can actually sit back in my seat and drive, i have all the amnenities i could want, the quality is much better. Honestly i cant even tell that the goat is heavier. it is still pretty light on its feet.

And dont get me started on the LS2

When did you get a GTO? And I'm sure the twin turbos help offset the extra weight. Lol!

Going to have to agree with the first half, and disagree with the second statement. Stock for stock a LS1/LS2 vehicle will outrun a N/A 4.6

However in your case, I think I'd trade a salvaged title GTO for a clean 01 Cobra. It would be easier to sell than a salvaged title GTO in my mind, that seems to scare a lot of people.

I'll +1 this. It's a big fat Grand Prix that should beat the pants off any GT with the LS1. And it should run right with a Terminator in the LS2 trim.

After driving the cobra I decided to keep the GTO, overall I like the GTO alot better. It has alot more power, more comfortable ride, better handling, better fuel economy ect. Guess I should expect that out of a newer car but the only reason i considered it was to get out from under the salvage title. Think im either gonna pay it off and keep it around or sell it and buy the new Coyote!

From what I have seen he knows very little, just loves to post on every thread he comes across.

With Pontiac out of the picture. The GTO being the type of car that it is will someday be valued by collectors

Trade for a 1967 GTO.

Also, Pontiac isn't out... the doors are just closed.
