I'm sure you could call a Ford dealership like Tousley Ford and buy an OEM Eaton supercharger.

But, If I were you, I'd look around for a used Eaton. Places like svtperformance.com have them all the time. They really aren't that expensive because they aren't all that great of a supercharger. People swap them out all the time.

And yes, the supercharger will work on your 2V GT, but it's not a direct fit. You will need to buy a kit to make it work. There is a lot of work envolved.

Read this thread:

03-04 Cobra Eaton Supercharger on your 2V

any of the smallest superchargers from any manufacturer will turn STOCK rods in anything other than a cobra and gt500 and new 11 to powder. You tune them right theyll last.

OP- Why supercharge the GT then buy the cobra?
Just buy the cobra or built the short block in the GT and supercharge it

Search Tork Tech they sell a complete conversion kit to use any 03/04 cobra supercharger on a 4.6 2v, 4.6 3v, 5.4 2v, 5.4 3v

why go torktech (eaton) when you can build a procharger/vortech setup for around the same price.

I went head over heels into this Tork Tech project when I had my GT. I had all the parts I needed minus the actual adapter plate from TT. I had a change of heart and decided to sell of the parts and just save long for a 04 Cobra and that's exactly what I did. So much more worth the wait.

If you aren't in a position to do that, A vortech kit will be cheaper than a Eaton swap, but the eaton swap is cheaper than the KB. They are all good blowers either way, the eaton will reduce your "rods to powder" as well if it is pullied to aggressively. Regardless, the Eatons are TQ monsters but are an old "roots" style design and the whole tork tech kit probably isn't going to have the same level of reliability as the KB's.

A M112 from a Cobra can be had for 250-400 bucks on SVTP forums.

Oh HELL yea man. Not to rub it in but it has all the better components and you can throw a ton of power at it before it gets really expensive. I stopped modding my GT, as much as I still wanted to do stuff to it.

Don't get me wrong, a blown 2v is still going to be quick and fun, but it doesn't have the great engine build quality, 6 speed, IRS, and reliability factor that the Termi's have.

IRS rides and handles nice but for straight line a built SRA is the way to go.

Yea of course and the SRA reduces the curb weight and is easier to launch, but if you know what your doing, (i have some idea) I got my stock IRS cobra minus the diff cover brace to go 11.4 upper only unported with fuel issues.

For what I do, I'll take the one on the left please.
