I think he was saying that usually when people post up "what do i need for a monster build to get 500+ horsepower" "im going to start saving" "itll be done in a few years" it never happens
a lot happens in 2 years but to the OP Motor 3k Trans 2k Rear End 1k Fuel 1k Misc and Tune 1k Supercharger or Turbo 4k Your looking at over 10,000$

10k for a complete build?
Forget the FR500s! I could be done in little over a year! Also, I doubt that max 3 years. It's on a personal level with my dad, too. He's the reason I even look at cars, and the first day he drove my car and said that it was a car to be proud of and complimented the power it has from being straight from the factory, my heart jumped like you wouldn't believe. He used to have a 1967 GTO that would raise the front end in first and hold it just a bit longer in second, and... yeah. I can't put it into words. If it wasn't for cars, me and my dad wouldn't talk. Anyways, that's my sob story. |

sounds like you dont have a plan. Headers will cost money an exhaust, clutch flywheel, gauges, figure $800+ worth of tuning, not including a tuner.tires, fixing random shit that breaks on the way. cams are 1k alone. Not to mention if you are not doing this work yourself it could be double for an install. $1000 into a built rear will almost get you there, turbo plumbing can be $500 in fittings and pipes. why not get a bottle you can afford that in 2 weeks pay for a sick kit, get an sct tuner and some radials and just be happy. I are drunk so take this with a grain of salt but its just a 22 year olds fellow broke students opinion

Nah, I don't like the bottle.
I want a built motor, because I've got 107,xxx miles, amx not only that, but even with better sleeves and internals, the block still won't handle 650. |

Also, I was talking about the two key components. Longblock and turbo set-up. I'll need bigger injectors, exhaust, intake, tune, throttle body, ignition, etc. Which I'm just going to pick at and put on my current engine so I could swap it when I swap it.
