Help replacing my front pads

My 03 cobras brake pads are down to nothing..i have new pada but when I tried to renove those caliper bolts I couldnt even begin to budge them, its hard to leverage them from this position but I was wondering if I even needed to do it that way..is there a way to take the pads out without removing the whole assembly? Am I missing something I mean do thr caliper bolts go in counterclockwise or something?

the bolts have a C-clip you pull out from the opposite side than after removing the clip you pull the bolt straight out also putting some pressure on the caliper so the bolt will slide out easilly then you lift up the part were the bolt was at and the caliper should slide out
