coilovers or springs??

rebuilding my suspension on the 04 cobra in about a month and cant decide whether to go with the maximum motorsports coil overs front and rear over the stock bilstien shocks or do H&R race springs with tokico d specs so i can keep the springs in the normal location. the car will be seeing mostly street duty but will definately be seeing a few open track and autocross events. i like the adjustability of the ride height with coil overs but i also like the fact that with the D specs i can adjust the damper to whatever kind of driving im doing and still have the hard spring rate of the race springs. any thoughts?

Coilovers are better in almost every way. Go ahead. You will love them.

Yup, coilovers are supreme. Follow that up with a tube K and arms when dough is available and lighten the front by about 100-150 lbs pending on which one you get.

I'm putting my vote in for coilovers. Haven't done it myself yet, but the difference I felt riding my dad's Jetta before and after was impressive.
