Squeaky '03 Termi

So my Cobra started squeaking like a son of a gun about a week ago. Really high pitched squeak about 30 seconds after I fire it up then goes away when the engine is fully warmed up. It's really loud and embarassing. Could this be my problem Metco Double Bearing Idler Pulleys

Do I need double bearing pulleys due to the extra boost?

On my Eaton it is usually the blower pulley bearings squeaking take it off and re-grease the pulley bearings and the noise should go away. I'm running 16 lbs of boost and it needs redone every year just about.

Check the idlers and the quality of the belt.

I will try this. I'm running the same boost on the ported Eaton. Thank you!

Any other ideas out there?

If your pullied and your idlers are stock then just replace the idlers anyways because its basically a necessity when your spinning the blower faster all the time.

I had the same problem and believe it or not it turned out to just be the belt. And my belt looked new. Ever since I replaced it everything went back to sounding fantastic.

most likely the belt (they take a serious beating under boost) but i have seen a lot of 4.6 2v cars at work (im a lead technician at tires plus in ocala fl.) come in with belt squeel/chirp and it turns out to be the harmonic balancer separating, the rubber dries out and causes the pully to separate from the hub

Ill take it into a Terminator shop and get a diagnosis. I will mention the bearings, idlers, belt, and harmonic balancer. But will mention the idlers and belt are new.

Thanks to all. If there are any other suggestions please let me know.

And does anyone know if this issue is robbing me of any power?
