98 svt cobra engine problem??

anyways...i just bought a 98 svt cobra the other day and im really not to smart when it comes to these motors due to the fact that ive nvr worked on them. it runs and idles fine just has a slight knock. cant really depict where its coming from. sounds like a rod knock...when i rev it up and it idles down is when it starts to make noises or under a load. its not a constant sound tho u can almost here it at an idle etc. it doesn't speed up when you rev either....its different and any help would be appreciated. please and thanks you

i can prolly post a video or something here in a few mins. i know the top end is good. was going to buy a crank kit and just redo the bottom end....vid will be up in a few mins.

im sure its a rod knock i just want a second opinion

damn if u listen close u can hear it. it only knocks threw the mid range rpms

I couldn't hear it either.
For a decent video you'd want to do it outside when it'not windy. And not put the camera too close but still where you can hear the knock.

ok here is the video. fyi it has good oil pressure. im sure its a rod knock just dk where. hoping its something that i can pull the pan and new bearings....n not have to mess with pulling the whole motor lol.
