My Mach stalls
Every now and then when I push my clutch in as I'm slowing down my RPM's will get very low (below 500 rpm) and sometimes die. I usually just pop the clutch and it fires right back up. It runs just fine other than that. Idles fine and everything else. I have noticed that if I decelerate without pushing in on the clutch for a second then push the clutch in, it won't do it. Any ideas?

Check to see if your MAF sensor is dirty. Also if you take out that screen before the MAF, it'll do that too. I had that problem before when I had my Mach.

I will check that. It has pretty much done it since I bought it so the previous owner might have pulled out the screen. It has a K&N Cold Air Intake

I believe that it has to do with the air coming into the MAF being turbulant. The faster you're going when you put the clutch in, the more likely it is to stall due to the shaker. |

Mine does it too when I go from 5th/6th at speed to a stop. I've found that downshifting helps out or giving it a little gas as I'm coming to a stop while the clutch is in. I've seen a few people post about this on the Mach 1 Registry. You're not the only one out there with this problem.

My Cobras RPMs drop low sometimes, then picks itself back up to idle speed.. but it's never stalled on me..weird.

From everything I've read, it happens only on the Mach 1s because of the ram air intake setup. At speed, there's a fair amount of air being pushed into the airbox, and without the screen there, the air is more turbulent than it would normally be, so it messes up the MAF's reading.
