2003 Mach 1

After my GT threw a rod two Mondays ago,

I went out searching for a car and found a good deal on a Mach 1 that was nearby.

It's a 2003, with the IUP, 6 disc changer, Mac Prochamber and cat-back, Nitto clad FR500s (10.5s with 315s on the back) and only 69,xxx miles! Needless to say, I am in love with this car!

I want to say thanks to all the guys who helped me out about a year ago, especially MachBoy for coming to look at that one with me and sharing his knowledge of the vehicles with me. I'll be posting pictures and a video as soon as I figure out the correct way to do so.

Nice looking car. Now throw some sandbags in the trunk before it gets loose on you in the snow. I see you went with an auto

I looked at a red auto mach 1 just like that before buying my Cobra. I think it had like 6,000 miles or so on it. Three quick things!

1. Clean that engine compartment up asap..that hurts to see a 4v that dirty!
2. Get a DD, please don't drive that beautiful car in the snow
3. Please don't make it look anything like the car in your sig lol

Black Magic engine cleaner works AMAZING. Then again, my engine compartment never looked like that... that interior looks grey on my phone. I thought our cars only had dark grey/charcoal.

You saw me in that manual: I'm terrible. Plus, I'd get too aggravated driving it everyday in traffic.

1. I'm getting on that little process that Emay has posted here when I have a chance.

2. If I could afford a DD, I'd have one. I'll take a Mach and be nice. It just looks really snowy because I don't shovel my driveway.

3. I bought that one to take back to stock and never had the money. Now it's mercifully resting and I do not plan on changing the best looking stock 99-04, IMHO, whatsoever. Well, those bumper letters could be replaced with black chrome.

Seems like a fair price.

I overpaid for mine at $9,500 because I know it was in an accident, but I was too afraid to throw down a price because I really wanted it... I'll never make that mistake again...

I got her as clean as I could with the $3.25 in quarters I had on me when I went to the car wash. The change machine was broken so I was a little short on time. I am looking forward to doing Emay's engine cleanup sometime soon.

fyi, be careful when cleaning the engine. most coil covers aren't sealed properly and you will get liquid into the cop blasters and you'll have no spark giving you a dead cylinder. sux, been there done that.

...get some lowering springs asap and some 4:10s for that auto and your set bro, either way congrats on the nice car.
