Stupid question with lame excuse.

Did the black Mach 1 come with the hood decals or no? I bought the car knowing it had been in a minor accident (Original hood and radiator support (the hood flexed right in the middle), but the dumbass used bondo on fiberglass.) Well anyways blah blah blah, crappy paint job, subpar rebuild, no decals put on hood yadda yadda yadda.

I can't see pictures clearly on my crappy phone. And I just got a charcoal grey/ metallic decal put on today to match as closely as possible to the stripe in the seats.

They did have a black decal just like all of the other ones. TBH it would be a waste of money to even put it on because you can't see it anyway. And I'm with you on the paint. My clearcoat is coming off EVERYWHERE. The good news is I'll have the car paid off this summer.

When I get mine panted, I want it done right with new paint all around and I want 'ghost flames' through the front end with Azure blue.8) I'm thinking that's going to be a $2,500-$3,000 bill.

I dont mean any offense (ok maybe just a little) but flames have their place in the car world and i also am a big defender of the "to each their own" mindset, but flames.....on a Mach 1...... it just seems kinda like putting a yosemity sam mustache on the mona lisa, yeah itll hide the smile, but it just doesnt quite belong there ya know. Again i apologize that im probably offending.

I'm sorry, i meant fire, not flames. Something you can only see from certain angles.

If that makes a difference...

Is there a black piece that is supposed to cover up the radiator so you don't see it through the grill delete? I just put the grill delete on because the original guy that wrecked it put a GT grill on it.

+1 put a different color stripe on it whether it be paint or a decal and forget about the flames.

Ill post pics of my current visual set-up. The charcoal grey/metallic silver looks amazing because it goes with to silver stripe on the seats.

I think some Mach1s look sexy with the stripe delete. Also flames/fire of any sort would look horrible on a Mach 1, ghost or not.

Well, here she is with a different decal and lights. Like I said, the previous owner did a shitty job of putting it back together and it looked like he took an orbital sanders to compound the sub-par paint job and hit the lights, so I replaced those too. I mean, honestly, the guy probably bought new lights and didn't even bother to take them out to compound... he failed...
