Open road racing mustang

I have a chance to pick up a pretty sick mustang. Unfortunately, my resources are kinda thin right now after picking up that 98 cobra, but I just CANT let this one go.

97 GT

Darton wet sleeve block w/ billet crank, rods, and diamond pistons
2v foxlake ported heads
electric waterpump,bullitt and LT's
449 rwhp

Maximum Motorsports "maximum grip package"
1996-97 Mustang GT Maximum Grip Box [GB-4.1] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!
2.3 lateral g's on the skid pad!!!

Custom aluminum driveshaft with a 200mph balance

Receipts and dyno sheet included. This guy is a mechanical engineer, and DESIGNED his own turbo kit--which he will include.

8500

Yea I got some pics. I'll post em next post.

He told me he entered a road race in I believe Arizona in the "unlimited" class. With the turbo system, he humiliated all the z06's, vipers, and porches...Ended up with first place. haha

imo, i believe he (the person selling car) is full of s#*@. i pull 2.4 on the skid plate in my mach 1 and what makes that possible is fully built mm irs, tru trac lsd, tokico d spec, r h&r, kenny brown chassis stiff setup, sticky tires, and 404rw. my list can go on. all i am saying you are going to need more than that 3link and bilstein shocks to break 2.0. basically everything i see in those photo's are lies. i will tell it how it is when i see it, and my friend that car looks like a peice of s#*@. i road race all the time with my brother and have a lot of experience. wish he could show you the dyno vid all the way to the #'s so you know thats the real motor he is talking about. forgive me if i sound rude, but i'm not. i just have a feeling someone is trying to rip someone off, i can't stand that. aslo there is no way that 2v with the mods he said will hit 450rw n/a.

You don't need an IRS to pull 2+ lateral g's. With a flat track, a solid rear does just as good. BTW it does have chassis strengthening. He has a strut tower brace and FLSFC's.

It is wet sleeved increasing the displacement to 5.0ish liters. Foxlake porting is excellent. 450 rwhp is dead on.

Believe me, I have lots of experience dealing with cars, and people. Hell, the 98 cobra I purchased, the dude that owned it just got outta jail! I'm not going to throw my money away. I will be verifying everything he claims.

OH and... If had had an IRS, I would look to full tilt boogie racing for building up your rear. 10x better than MM...at least for IRS.

Actually there were only three cars entered in the unlimited class and this car didn't finish the race: Silver State Classic Challenge September 2002 Final Results. I should know because I was the first place winner. I don't see a torque arm bar on there so there is no way in hell he's pulling those kind of numbers on a skid pad. What kind of brakes do you have up front? :
