Not trying to nitpick, but they only made sonic blue Cobras in 2003. Just thought i'd offer that info to make your search easier.

If I wanna switch to a solid axle what is the best way to go about doing it??? What do I need?

Find somebody that has a 99-04 GT and swap over, but you will have to buy brackets from Ford to transfer your rear cobra brakes. If not go to a junk yard and get one. That would be the perfect time to build it, i.e. gears, axles and differential. Good luck and congrats on your new edge cobra.
