2001 cobra

Hey, every one so I was deciding on getting a 96 cobra or a trans am. Well the other day I'm driving down the road and I saw a silver 2001 cobra sitting in this guys drive way. To make the story short I stopped and he was the original owner I picked it up from him for $8500 completely stock down to the air filter. It's time to begin doing some mods on it. Whats the best way to go for mods (keep in mind it's my daily driver). Any advice will help! Let me tell you it feels really good getting out of my little 06 hyundai tiburon 4 cylinder for this lol

Took some pics car needs to be washed and it still has the number on the window from last night at sunshine drag strip. I'm trying to load the pics up.

get a slp or borla catback then a tuner and intake than a offroad x or h pipe, then gears and lower it 2 inches get some window tints or lights tinted or what ever you want to make it look cool

Yep, love this car more then I did my old mach 1. I took it to the track a couple days ago. With 2 people in the car I managed an 8.8 at 85 completely stock(eight mile_. I have a bassani X pipe on her now nothing else. I ordered a tuner and a jlt cai.

Damn! $8500 seriously I thought I stole my car at $7000 nice find for sure oh speaking of tiburons 2 days ago, I had one fly by me going like 110 or so I was doing like 55 then the guy slowed down and tried to race me.I rolled down my window and just pointed and laughed....

Should have got the faster Trans Am....Naw I'm just messing with you. Nice pick up.

The IRS on those New Edge Cobras are even worse than the ones 03/04 Cobras. I would start finding a way to beef that up, or do a solid axle swap.

Other than that, typical bolt-ons and what not.

I never knew what wheel hop was til I took this to the track... It was so bad that it seriously threw the car in neutral when I launched. I was thinking of a straight axle swap but I'm just gonna beef it up. My dream garage will have this in there, another mach 1 and a 04 cobra in sonic blue
