Non intercooled eaton on 99 cobra?

So ive been piecing together some parts for an eaton swap and im wondering if I can run this setup without the aftercooler temporarily? Will the blower bolt to the lower without the aftercooler and I could make a block off plate where the cooler goes through the intake? My biggest question is will the heaton do any damage at 8lbs without the aftercooler?

i would honestly just wait until you have all the pieces so you dont have to take it apart again. i believe it will work with out the aftercooler , but then again thats why its there so just wait until you get all the pieces so you dont end up causeing any unexpected damage

It will be coming apart again anyway, I plan on building a different long block for it and maybe going with a turbo setup instead of the eaton. I have most of the parts, timing cover, bridge, lower drive pulley, balancer, blower, basicaly just need the lower intake if I went through with goin non intercooled. Just want to have some temporary fun with it and not spend tons of money on the aftercooler, heat exchanger, hoses, pump, resevoir ect. Be cool if they made a bigger pulley to take it down to 6lbs or so.

Did some more research not liking what i hear bout how much heat the m112 makes, a buddy of mine has a methanol kit of his pickup I could get alot cheaper than running the intercooler. But might just sell the stuff I have and put it towards a turbo setup.
