Picked up a teksid ;)

I found a unmolested for 275, stock pistons included. I will be using the pistons in my stock 98 cobra rebuild. The highlight was it was untouched.

I am in talks with a guy from modularfords.com about buying his Billet Oliver Rods.

PICS ASAP!!!

This is the first one on craigslist for a while that was .020 or .030 over

anything over .006 is bad for high ponies

Ya mine was out of a mark 8 and only had 40k miles on it, I was able to keep it standard bore and just had the machine shop hone it. Would still be using it in my 4 valve swapped gt but the damn timing chain crawled and you can guess what happened from there.

crawled? Did it bend the valves? I've never heard of that before

LOL

No...the pistons are going in a 22k mile 98 cobra I am restoring to stock.

He had a supercharger on it making 550 to the wheels with stock injectors.

There are several burned pistons, so I killed two birds with one stone.

I WOULD try hypereutectic pistons on a high horse build, but I just don't think the stock pistons have enough meat in the piston pin area.
