Has anyone driven/seen a 2002 Cobra?

What was different besides the steering wheel placement and the bumper/lights?
How much do they sell for and are they legal in the U.S.?

Had to look online just to see if there was a 2002 cobra cuz i have never heard of one but from what i read they were made and exported to australia and were essentially the same as the 2001. Due to the fact that there wasnt alot made and it would have to be imported it would prob cost a lot and i would imagine it would be legal with documentation.

yea, ford made 100 directly for australia. there are some in the states and i tried talking the guy down on price, but he didn't go for it. they usually go for 28k-35k, not worth it anymore. it was pretty cool driving a mustang right hand steer, but i got over it after i was done..

Damn... That's a lot of money... I wonder how much they'll be worth in 20 years.

A couple of things that seem odd here. First, ALL 100 2002 Cobras were converted to right-hand drive, and shipped to Australia. Second, because they were never EPA certified, it would be illegal to import one back into the U.S., unless it was going directly to a collector. Since none of the 50 states would be able to legally issue a valid registration that would allow the car to be driven on the highway!

Nevermind. If I can't drive it, I don't want it and it no longer interests me. Lol.

what's odd, 100 for australia? right hand drive? as i stated before.. or you can't import it? well yes you can, come to ny and i'll show you 2. btw, collector or not, it's still imported. you answered your own statement... and illegal or not, doesn't matter. you know how many jap-spec cars are here that are illegal.. still doesn't matter.

^ exactly, doesn't matter if the car is illegal. you can always bend the rules, and drive it here in the states.

I just want to smack anyone who cocksucks over a Skyline. They act like nerds with no self esteem who want to bang a hot chick who would just lay there. They don't know what there doing and it doesn't do much to begin with.

thats only state legal and the DOT can still take the car like many have been taken before. there are about 250 motorex cars (r32-34) that are 100% legal here, otherwise you can still own one as a track car and be 100% legal and just throw on dealer plates for the street
