Yup. I'm in love with my car. Seriously. Wash and wax once a week, too! It's a good thing I get as much overtime as I do. I double my check with overtime and without it, half my pay would be insurance.

Because I got lucky with the Exploder and the cop didn't report it, and the second involved 4 other cars and since I was in the back I was at fault (Two days before my 18th birthday!). I barely escaped that Mexican lawsuit lottery and they settled through insurance and ever since then I've been under my own out of pure guilt. It's a good thing I did, because some asshole in Miami decided not to use his blinker. He was a crazyperson too. Like... unstable crazy. I got away with a sideswipe and a $1,000 bill. Ever since I've had my performance vehicle with bigger brakes and half the weight, I've been good! Lol

Just make sure that you can afford the car. I have seen alot of younger kids buy these then find out all of a sudden everything wears out twice as fast and costs twice as much. Just keep that in mind before you go buy one.

i totally agree with that statement,i bought my 03 mach 1 with 23000 miles i stole it for 17000 but after extended warranty and gap it brought it up to 20,000 for 36 month i was sitting at 457 a month which isnt bad considering that i make alot of money and am single w/o kids.. but cars break down, my tranny is already go with 38,000 miles that 2600 to fix/upgrade to T56.. as you can tell things add up.. buy something that you know you can afford even though you think you can afford more.. TRUST ME

Yup, when I traded my truck for it, it went from $286 a month with the F150 and my '89 Foxbody with minimum coverage on both with the fox as primary. To $420 with the Mach and fox with the fox being primary and full coverage on the Mach. To $673 for just the Mach. Then I begged my dad and now its $491! I asked them what it'd be without the Envoy after I renewed on 11/17 and the accident from 4/12 finally came into affect and they said $739 a month.

That's why I'm going to wait until I'm 21 and the first accident gets off my record to get a 99/02 Trans Am. I really want a WS6. Drool...

To the O.P., the reason I'm getting another car is because when I buy my house and if my Mach goes out I want to have another vehicle there to fall back on. In other words, always have a plan B (a.k.a. money). I've seen videos of Cobras with 9,17,24k miles doing burnouts, racing, donuts, and everything, so just because its been "garaged and seldom driven" doesn't mean it hasn't been raped. And raping has consequences and problems that can be passed onto you if you don't have the knowledge and experience to feel and listen to what a car is supposed to be. It happened to me to so don't take that personally.

my gt lasted long under abuse 100k+ of powershifting, overrevving, and burnouts.

The 3-4 fork failed after a missed shift. I drove it another 15k miles on only 1-2-5

You would be surprised how overbuilt the engine is for stock power levels.

Holy gravens! I pay $241 a month for three (3) cars, the Cobra included! You pay more for insurance than I pay on my new car's payment.
