i would sell it for 2,000 as well. its a D1SC with a 3.5" Reichard Racing pulley(20 psi), extra 3.70" pulley, bracket, intercooler, new silicone hoses/couplers, vortech mondo blow off, and the low impedence 84# injectors, injector driver....but i do not have the cold air intake, MAF, or fuel pump(i had an Aeromotive 1000 running 30 psi with 1/2" fuel line to the motor). If interested, let me know, i would much rather just sell the whole engine setup together if i could for 6,000, PM me if interested! over 20k in motor setup

One of the few things you can do to check it out other than look at the overall shape of the parts is hand turn the rotors and listen for noise/grinding and feel to see how smooth the rotors turn. Less noise, no grind, smooth feel=good.

Porting a KB is almost never ever done and KB doesn't suggest it. It just doesnt work out like it does on roots blowers. KB's run cooler as it is and make more power standalone than roots. This makes other options of cooling under high boost setups much much better than trying to port the twin-screw. Things such as methanol/water, killer chiller, nitrous, etc are much more practical and IMO more fun. Although if I had an eaton id port and spray the hell out of it.

The overall price of that kit worries me. It really does seem like they want rid of it. I don't know a whole lot of people that are glad to part with their perfectly good KB for $1500 but GL.

Man you've got the best motor to put boost to. The cobra motors can handle a lot of power. I've been told that the cobra motors can handle a lot more than 500 hp. The block for sure but if you've got a lot of miles i wouldnt push it too hard until you get time and money to at least get you some new bearings and get your rods checked and have the crank polished. It is forged so you can throw a lot at it. In fact the dohc 4v was rated one of the top 10 motors ever produced. Read up on it. Good luck.

Only the 03-04 Cobra has forged internals, but maybe if I read page 1 the motor he has is built. Or you are talking about the crank
