C&L performance inlet pipe. any good

anyone have a C&L performance inlet pipe or the whole system in their 1996-1998 cobra. is it worth getting one

I have one in my 99. I like it and it's pretty solid and easy to clean/paint.

Is it worth it? By what means? Looks? HP Gain? I couldn't tell you honestly, I was given mine, but it's definitely a nice piece.

The only thing that MIGHT be an issue is it heatsoaking on really not days, but I don't see that happening unless it's scorching out.

I dyno'd 270 with full exhaust and the inlet arm so who really knows. I couldn't tell you if there is a comparison out there includes the C&L in it.

You probably won't see a big HP difference than if you were to buy a JLT or BBK.

I sold some mustang parts on E-Bay and have about 175.00 so I was thinking of getting the air inlet pipe. maybe I'll just get some beer

just the inlet, eh, not anything to really get worked up about. i love the full kit w/ the maf. i had one, installed a few, and the kit i prefer. as for heat soak, thats just something that people like to bring up. when at wot, the air is moving too fast for the heat of the inlet to bother anything.

i have just the inlet in my cobra, best thing about em is u can still keep the strut tower brace if you have one instaled, and like stated above easy to clean and paint
