Some IRS upgrades

Planning on upgrading my IRS sometime soon. How much of an improvement in overall handling would I see if i decided to get new shocks + springs, sub-frame connectors, and replacing all the bushings with stronger ones?

depends on what your use for shocks and springs, if you use lowering springs you will lose ride quality and the shocks should help also but depends on if you go oem specs or if you go harder or softer rates. the bushings will help it ride smoother and the sub frame will cause it to be slightly rougher since the body is more rigid but nothing that you should notice much.

I really like that stance. So was it worth installing those parts? How difficult was the install for those?

Full length subframe connectors for sure. Then search the web for "Full tilt boogie racing". He offers different levels of replacement bushings and has some great videos showing how the factory bushings in our IRS assembly is less than perfect. Check it out, I plan on doing the full kit later on this year, but with warm weather in sight, I don't want any down time right now!

I read the IRS tech thread on SVT performance, is that complete bushing kit for $675 a good buy?
