m112 silencer delete

Is it worth deleting the silencer ports on the m112? I did a little port work on my eaton I plan to use with my swap, I have done a little research but cant figure out how much louder it will really make it. I cant weld aluminum and I dont really trust jb weld so is it worth the trouble? Pic of my sloppy port work

damn thats a huge low pressure outlet. as for the trouble with the delete; its upon you really. its not going to do anything at all besides make it louder. not sure what kind of work you have done on the inlet side, but thats where most of the work needs to be done at.

I have done a little porting on the inlet just mainly took out the two large humps where the iac mounts and took a little out of the inlet on the blower itself. I only want to run this with the stock pulley for now but hopin to cut down the iats a little and make it more effecient

well, not much with a stock upper. once you start upping the boost then it will start to get louder. i my buddy had to have his silencers filled on his harley, and that gucker screams pretty damn loud. as for the inlet side, needs more work than that if have the time/tools. i have pics of one of the blowers i have done in the link in my sig if you want to see what i am talking about. just scroll over to the pics and they are at the bottom.

Ya im going to leave it alone, as far as the port work I think its enough for the little boost i will be running, If i decide to use a blower in my build next winter I will take some more time on it or go with a whipple or kenne bell. Im only going to run this setup for the summer I just attempted the porting because I will be running it non intercooled with methanol injection and want to keep the iat low. Should be able to hear the whine a little with stock pulley and a cold air intake right?
