Aluminum flywheel comes stock in 03/04 Cobra?

Aluminum flywheel comes stock in 03/04 Cobra?

I have a 2004 Mustang GT, but I'm upgrading to an MMR750 shortblock (which has the same crankshaft as the 03/04 Cobras), and putting in a new flywheel and clutch while I'm at it.

I ordered an aluminum flywheel.

The guy doing the install work is telling me to send the aluminum flywheel back because he feels the driveability will be poor. I thought that the 03/04 Cobras came with aluminum flywheels from the factory. Am I right about that?

This is a street/strip car. I thought that the driveability would be acceptable.
Will the driveability be OK?

Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your reply!

That saved me the hassle of sending it back and ordering another one.

Thanks guys.

I can't wait to get this done and get back on the dragstrip!
I'm putting on some MMR Stage 2 ported heads as well.
The car ran high elevens with the Vortech V3 - hoping for mid elevens now.
