New clutch

Ok guys, I'm buying a new clutch for my Cobra and was wondering if someone could educate me on it. I'm getting a Ram HXD and was wanting to know if I need 10.5 or 11 disc, or if it even matters?? From what I gathered I need a 10 spine? Any input would help. The car is stock right now and I'm getting 4.10 gears for it in the next couple weeks.

the 97 cobra came with a 10.5inch clutch you can go with a 11inch clutch but youll need to get a compadable flywheel as well.

I went ahead and bought a Ram HDX clutch for my 1996 cobra two months ago because my stock throwout bearing completely shattered somehow but now with 2500 miles on the new clutch the throwout bearing is beginning to squeel and sqeek again like it did before it shattered on me in the middle of town. So idk if its the new throw out not being a ford OEM part or if its just because the clutch cable isnt adjusted correctly or needs to be readjusted since its been worn in now. but i feel another hefty labor bill is in my future. The kit i bought was a 10.5 spline and i went ahead and bought a ford racing pilot bearing since the kit didnt come with one off of LatemodelRestoration.com

When I change the clutch, I'm going to try and put all new parts back in. This is all I've ordered so far.

Ram HDX clutch
New cable
UPR quilt click firewall adjuster
UPR Billit triple hook quadrant
Ford racing pilot bearing

Going to leave it, unless I see something wrong with it when I do the installation of the new clutch.

at least re-surface the flywheel, just to be on the safe side of having to remove the tranny again due to flywheel troubles.
