Firstly, there is no 2002 Cobra. You are probably referring to the 99 and 01 Cobras. I would definitely get the 2001 for it's nicer interior as well as some other perks. Also, all Mustangs from 1994-2004 are SN95 but the 1999-2004 are considered the New EDGE mustangs. Not new "age". But they are still sn95's.

Get an '01 cobra if you can afford it. I'd never take an SN95 over a comparable New Edge

It's up to you and whatever you score a deal on. The '99 and '01 have a little more power and independant rear suspension, but I personally like the '96-'98 body style a wee bit more.

i agree. New edge cobras even if they arnt terminators can handle more horespower than these sn-95s without majorly building up the engine. Anything past 400 or so horses and sn-95s need alot of work. So would a new edge, but atleast some of its already there to work with.

its for sale btw lol

and as far as holding more power without doing major upgrades is completely wrong

a head and intake swap and they will handle the same power now as far as the cobras go throw a blower on any 4v cobra motor and they all make about the same power on the STOCK shortblock
