Sparkplugs??

I've only had my cobra about a month now and put some new plugs in it. I went with the NGK Iridiums and was just wondering what plug everyone likes best?

People buy different plugs depending on what kind of mods are done to their car. I haven't had the Cobra long enough to have to change the plugs, but would also like to know if there is a preffered brand for different conditions. I myself have a stock engine and don't plan on doing much more than simple bolt ons.

For a relatively stock 96-98 Cobra, Motorcraft 32C's.

NGK TR6's are the only plug that you should be using until you are running 20+psi of boost. Then the NGK BR7EF's.

Just food for thought. Iridiums provide absolutely no gain until your getting into really high boost/compression situations. Not only this your vehicle was manufactured in accordance with Platinum sparkplugs. Platinum will work just fine for the rest of you wondering. In fact platinum will run more "ideal."

Believe it or not, I can tell a difference with the Iridiums in my stock Cobra. Smoother idle and the throttle response feels a little better....just sayin!

Compared to your old used plugs? Of course you feel a difference. They are new plugs.

Its in your head. Iridiums provide zero benefit until you are having spark suppression issues due to extreme boost. Google it a bit and read up. Its not harming anything, you're all good. Just gap them right and give it hell.

They were a little used up!! I think they were the original ones and I do know that is the only reason I could tell a little difference....
