Help Please.

Hey ,every one i just bought an 01 cobra. I have been driving it the last few days and have notice that while shifting there is a slight bump before going into just about every gear. I feel that it should shift alot smoother. I also noticed that the brake light comes on between shifts some times. I was just wondering if anyone would know what was causing this. I was thinking maybe the slave cylinder? If you have ideas let me know thanks.

One, your car has a cable for the clutch, not a hydraulic master/slave cylinder. 2, what's a bump mean? You mean it's hard to get into gear? You feel a notch or something before it goes in?

t3650 can be notchy, especially cold. the brake light is on because you need fluid in the master cylinder.
