Make your points in here without all the name calling and childish bullshit, please. Surely that's not too difficult.

10 pumps, 1 pump, it really doesnt matter. Nothing is bullet proof. Voltage drop from your alternator getting ready to fail could cause pump output to decrease and a lean condition to rear its ugly head. It's a risk one takes. That's why I have a wideband and tune the car on the safe side to give me some room to react to a potential problem. If it takes a crap I'll just build it bigger. Lesson learned.

I'm not the only person running this setup and for good reason. My buddy Jared at lethal is running big boost and e85 on several of his shop cars (2010 gt500, 2011 5.0 gt, 03 cobra)...........Wonder why they arent running one fuel pump or pushing that setup to customers?

worked out a few minor issues and went out to datalog today. first pull on base tune and it was pretty close. a/f was pretty fat but fuel pressure was rock solid! didnt change more than 1-2 psi. revised the maf curve and will go out first thing in the morning to log the revised tune. will make a few tweaks after that and will put the timing back in final tune.

3.0 upper and 2# lower was showing 21 psi on my new hilton boost overlay with the 2.9. was thinking it would be higher.

If you are not running your stock lower cage, you are gambling. The cage keeps the force of driving the supercharger off the crankshaft/main caps. Ford GTs and Cobras all have had the front snout break off the crankshaft.

Something you might want to think about.

Nice build though.. go kill some turbo cars XD

Yeah I'm well aware of that. Been around the game for a long time. A 2# lower isnt near as bad as an 8# lower. Now that I wont have to run a lower to get the boost I want out of the 2.9 I'll more than likely swap back to the stock caged lower.

Exactly. I raced a 780 RWHP E85 Cobra Tuesday night with a 3.4 crusher and he fell short a couple of cars once I hit boost, and I was on pump gas. Turbo is just a different animal, even at the same boost level as twin screw. I might fill up on E85 tomorrow for some weekend action.

Now, I too have the triple walbro/fore set up. Let me say this - I had 1 pump fail already within 2 months and is going back under warranty. I have all three active at all times since my driving habits are mostly beastly on a per-drive-basis. I've heard of horror stories on one or two pumps failing on WOT, but I've also heard of hob switches not activating and creating the same "boom" results. I personally keep an eye on my A/F gauge and check the pumps randomly by killing the relay and listening to them run or not.

Same thing can happen with one pump set up, but the time that mine went out, I could still drive around as opposed to having the single pump fail then you're stuck. As I upgrade into the 900+ HP range, I will add a cell with two extra pumps for back up. E85 cools much better than gasoline so the chances of a major failure due to less fuel are minimal when running on E85, even if one pump fails. I ran as lean as 13.5 on WOT, 22 psi and nothing blew, lucky I know, but I have a feeling that it would have done it on 93.

The tune is complete. Just been busy working and waiting for my new street wheels to show up before I hit the dyno. I have yet to drive the car with the full timing tune in it but when I made my final pull for tuning (4th gear this time) the car just kept pulling harder and harder. The 2.9 no doubt has some amazing topend compared to the 2.3.

Couldnt agree more. I would even bet with 100 octane you would have popped something at 13.5 afr.
