Gear question
Maybe someone already answered this, I looked quick but didn't find an answer...
What exactly is the difference in 1/4 times for the relative gear sizes ... I mean on average can a set of gears shave a tenth or more, what gears shave what times etc thanks for any input

I don't think gears will really shave your quarter mile times... it's more of a feel thing.... better gears will make better use of your power.

they will def make your times go down. 4.10s over stock can take over .4 secs off your time

I have 3.55's in mine and I don't like them all that much, but they will be a nice commodity once I build my blown stroker

Alright thanks for the info/opinions, trying to see how close I can get my GT to 12s n/a before I start saving up for a blower or turbo while still driving it about 10-15k a year

02 GT I was going to sell it a while back and get a lightning but I decided to keep it and see what I can do with it, I have a 1.7 inch drop for it I have to put in and I was looking into upper and lower control arms for it, its sort of my 2nd priority as I am still getting the cobra show ready.. I would like to get more 1st place then 2nd or 3rd place trophies this year as apposed to last
