Can you tell if it's had a valve job? How do the exhaust ports look?

Great. Now I'm tempted to just rip off my heads and port them. It would make installing springs easier...

So much for simple projects huh? Funny how a supercharger swap becomes an engine rebuild.

If you rip them off, get some good studs as well.

That's a given. Still fighting the urge though. First I take the heads off, next thing you know I'm switching to return style, going TT...it's a downward (or upward?) spiral. It was easy to resist the temptation when I didn't have the money. lol

well I got the other head back from the machine shop today and port matched it to the gasket, think i did alot better job than what someone did on the other head and pry going to wind up touching that one up too. Any ideas on what pulley to use to get bout 12 pounds out of the eaton? I have a metco interchangable lower, would a 4lb lower work or better off chaning the upper?
