cam journal repair

is MP the only place that repairs cam journals on these things? i have had him do 3, does damn good job, but just checking to see if there was anyone else that did it. this mach decided to break a secondary chain

, the first intake cam journal is ate up, and i need to send cam out to see if it can be saved. amazingly that seems to be the only damage (visually). usually i see bent valves, busted cam towers, followers fallen off, etc.

i will start on his psr today or tomorrow as well, hopefully i have it done by time the head returns. then we can finally put the thing on the dyno and tune it

Doesn't Houston Performance do them as well? We checked on it when mine went south.

eh, not too sure about them man. too many good and bad out of them.

I can't think of any other place that does repairs. As you already know MMR sends their work out. Al Papitto might do repairs, but I doubt he is faster and/or cheaper than MP.
