It's a 4.6 DOHC. I found a couple on the internet for about $2700 + $1k core charge. 3 year 100,000 mile warranty.

You lookimg to buy stock, or one with after market internals? Also long or short block? I have a 97 cobra long block just sitting around. So the block is a good up grade if you just need a block.

Your motor completely destroyed or just dont want to deal with rebuilding it?

I picked the car up for next to nothing, and we have the engine partially torn down. A cam froze snapping the secondary timing chain. It was determined that it was caused by a lack of oil. So is it just the one side? How is the other head and the lower part of the engine? We figure that it would be cheaper just to get another engine already rebuilt. Jaspers wants $4k to rebuild the engine.
