rattling nosie from exhaust

Driving today i started hearing a rattle from my exhaust near the firewall i have a 03 cobra with slp exhaust and high flow cats all my exhaust mounts are good o yea and it threw a trouble code after a couple miles of rattling then the noise stopped and then came back after i drove it around again i dont have a code reader yet but im goin to autozone in the morning just wondering if anyone had ever had a problem like this the car seems to be running fine still has power and as for as i can tell the motor is not causing the noise although i know sound can travel

im thinking maybe one of my cats came apart on the inside

well the code i got said bank 1 was running lean so im replacing the oxygen sensor but its still doesnt explain the noise i heard it sounded like there was a bolt rattling around inside my exhaust also found that i had one cat that had been gutted and the other one was not but it had a hole in it but i could not duplicate the sound by shaking the it

yea me to but i think that i may have got some honeycomb in my mufflers so i got to drop them also and check them out

just buy an o/r pype and mil eliminators so you dont have to replace the cats. where in ga are you located?

im in macon not really worried about emissions so i gutted the other cat and put it back together, only thing i was worried about is do i have enough back pressure or do i even need any at all

should be like an o/r mid with gutted cats. so better flow, less restriction.
