buying a 96 cobra

alright guys, so im selling my 95 gt. its up for 5g, that way theyll talk me down to 4500 and i can still get what i want. i bought it for 2900. already got a buyer. next thursday. anyways i got my eye on this 96 cobra. ill put the link in so you guys can see it. i went and drove it today and it drove really nice. sounded alright, needs a cat back. and wheels. lol. but i got a buddy who does paint so the unpainted front bumper is no biggy. he's selling it for 4200 which is waaay cheaper than any other modular cobra around. what do you guys think? cosmetically i think it needs some work but the interior is really nice and except the o/r xpipe and suspension its all stock.

im also getting 1500 sometime this month that i'll be putting into my car regardless if its this or something else. but here's my list:
-sct tuner
-thort throw and knob
-slp loudmouth cat back (should i get LM1's or LM2's?)
-jlt cai (read that this gives the more power than bbk or c&l and its cheaper)
-bbk underdrive pulleys (read that they're dyno proven 11rwhp)
-sequential tail light kit
-clear lens foglights

what do you guys think?

Looks pretty clean. Drive it around or have him take you for a ride and check for any sounds.

As for the mods everything looks good but I'd just buy a K&N filter instead of the CAI and don't even buy the UDPs, you'll be lucky to get 2-4rwhp let alone 11. Just remember that you will have to have someone tune the car once you get the tuner and that will cost some money. But it will get rid of the check engine codes and make it run better.

I would get the LM1's and don't bother with the underdrive pullies. I personally like the look of the JLT intakes and haven't heard much negative about them. Watch out for stuck imrc plates lol.

i wouldnt worry about them. They are easy to clean up, expecially for a low priced cobra. I would jump on it.

+1 on the LM1s, They sound great on the 4v cars. Thats a great price on the cobra, I can't find one for near that price here in VA.
