trading my 2003 gt vert for a 99 cobra?
Hi everyone, Im thinking on trading my 2003 mustang gt convertible for a 99 mustang cobra coupe, is the trade worth it ? The cobra has some cosmetic modifications but no performance mods that I know of, my GT has 3.55 gears, CAI with k&n, battery relocation kit, and some weight reduction(weights as much as a coupe, mybe just a little over 50 pounds), as far as performance goes I donīt think itīll be a huge difference but it would be nice having the cobra badge, for some reason my GT seems to beat coupes with a lot more mods in them, thatīs way itīs hard to see it go
it is one of those "special" cars haha. Well hope to hear some opinions !p.s. both cars are in El Salvador in Central America, there are about 15 GTīs in the whole country but the cobra would be the only one in there, another plus for the cobra would be that the track where I race at sucks really bad and adds 1.5 seconds to your time because you start with a noticeable inclination against you, the cobra suspension would work better in this situation i guess.

mine has 125k miles the cobra has 145k and I would have to fix one or two cosmetic things because the past owner was a bit of a ricer... side scoops are painted silver and the car is dark green (facepalm)

My advice? Get the hell out of El Salvador and come to the U.S. Then sell your GT and get a Terminator....

either way here, your talking about high milage.
If you care to take the risk of the 20k extra miles... do it. Be aware that shit on a 4v is more to fix then on your 2v. (side note.... that cobra would destroy yours) |

well I also live in the US but I drive a z4 in there, Iīm actually planing on selling the bmw and buying a terminator, I spent so much money in that z4 and itīs still slows as hell...I recently got my ass terminated by two z06īs, the only thing that I like about the z4 performance wise is its handling, it takes the circuit like a gokart with 250 hp in it haha

I would keep the GT and mod it, they both have high miles but you know that yours still runs good you don't know what you are getting when you trade.
