HP loss w/ 1 3/4" LTs over 1 5/8" LTs on a stock cobra?
so i know that the only time u would really need to go with the 1 3/4" LTs over a set of 1 5/8" LTs is primarily because you've gone over the 600+ rwhp range; however, i've got a completely stock cobra right now and was thinking about doing the exhaust all at once & someday mos definitely plan to be over 600 rwhp. the set up that i plan on going w/ is the Kooks 1 3/4" LTs & Catted 3" Kooks x pipe and either the Borla Stingers or Mac 2.5 SS catback (leaning towards going w/ Borla right now as Mac's products are all currently on backorder) and i like the 1 3/4" LTs & 3" X pipe set up over the 1 5/8" & the 2.5" x pipe because it's a tad deeper in terms of its sound and also because i'm going to be over 600 rwhp someday.
all of that being said, i was curious how much of a loss in HP/TQ i'm going to feel if i go ahead and do the 1 3/4" headers & 3" x pipe over the 1 5/8" & 2.5" x pipe on my car right now with it being 100% stock with the exception of the full exhaust (when it is installed)? is it going to be a pretty noticeable difference or will it be too small to tell? after i do the exhaust, i prob won't do any mods for a while as it's going to cost a pretty penny to go with this particular set up so i was just wondering what the loss i was going to feel was going to be.
