so im going to get my 01 cobra with 98xxx miles for my 04 srt4 with 102xxx miles ad 2.5k?? what do you guys think? i think its a good deal and the car is in perfect condition in and out and everything stock.

Eh, depends on how modded your SRT-4 is. I've seen SRT-4's and 01 Cobra's go for similar prices. Might be giving him a little more than you need to.

Either way it's a nice step up.

yea i got it damn it feels different driving a car that has no sound at all my cobra is bone stock everything it sounds so quiet.

4 things wrong with it though
1.the ford emblem in the back is upside down lol
2.the clutch pedal is real tight and i have to press down hard
3.the brake pads are done
4.there is a clicking sound in the right wheel and with the brake pads gone and that, the noises are annoying.

how do i fix the ford emblem?? if i take it of can i just put it back on the right way?? or do i need to buy some type of glue again?

I wish I only had 4 problems when I bought my stang, let alone ones that insignificant.

I'm not sure with the emblem though, I strongly suspect since the trunk is mostly composite, there's no bolts, and it's just glued on. I know there's several threads on removing them, but hit it with a heat gun, and take it off using fishing line. Then glue it on the right way. I forget what adhesive we used at work for that, might want to just ask a shop what they use.

I think i read somewhere that people used dental floss to get underneath the emblems and pop them off.. Then turn it right side up and pop it back on! Congratz on the new ride!

Congrats! Its not hard to take off the Ford emblem just hit it with the sun & a heat gun and use some fishing line or dental floss. Just remember that there is a plastic piece sticking through the trunk so ya don't break it off. Putting it back on I would prolly use some 3M

yea that's what im going to do thanks, and yea every car has its wrongs. I'm going to fix the brakes and the noise tommorow and the emblem also and the clutch ima buy in like 2 weeks with a stedda tri ax short shifter ftw

Check the new front pads to make sure they come with the anti-rattle clips. If they don't, be sure to buy a set or you will be mad that you didn't.

very nice man. My dream car is an 01 or 03/04 cobra. And to get the emblem off you can put tape on the end of a flat head screwdriver and pry is gently off and turn it right side up to fix that problem

i know they look like mach 1 rims but they have a cobra in the middle haha, yea it has it little things i dont like about it and got to fix you know but every car has its things. Thanks everyone for the compliments now ima fix the couple things that have to be fixed then full detail it like clean the seats and the whole carpet panel and then the modding will begin

The clutch being real stiff might not be a problem. The clutches in these cars are VERY stiff. It's just gonna give you a leg workout if you have to drive in traffic.

Time to start doing more leg press

still mach 1 rims bud. and yeah car looks good, get that thing a full professional detail and drive the piss out of it! alot better than a srt-4
