gt to cobra??
i went from an 04 gt to an 01 cobra and it feels sooo different is it normal to feel this different not speed wise just ride wise. also or could it be that this car is bone stock and my 04 gt wasnt so i never got to drive a stock mustang before?? so my question is it because the car or the the level of mods?? thanks for the help

My cobra didnt seem much different from my 01 gt as far as the ride, irs seems a little different but nothin extreme just lot more torque smoother sound.

yea i think when i get a new clutch and same short shifter i had it would feel the same and do intake an exhaust also

I have full bassani with offroad x on mine, love how it sounds but hate driving it down the interstate or highway can hardly hear the radio.

Guess not full i still have stock manifolds but damn headers cost too much for the 4 valve

yea i know its like $700 for the slp headers but ima do it all right on my cobra, i dont care how much it is lol thats what im going to have a job for.

Lol thats what I said, just got done with the eaton swap on mine, i would like to get a set of headers on it before it gets tuned, it all adds up too fast.

I'm hoping he's being sarcastic here...headers are actually more effective in NA versus FI. FI has the benefit of a boosted incoming charge for scavenging, whereas the headers help with this in NA.
Expect $1500-2500. I paid closer to $2500, but it came with gauges, pulleys, intake, ported, everything was powdercoated black, aftermarket HE...the list goes on.

There's a ton of parts involved. Some of which you may not need. A good deal can be fabbed yourself or rigged yourself if you're not concerned about factory spec. Most of the parts are replacement. You can sell off your stock 01 Cobra parts to help offset the cost. Or find a 03/04 Cobra guy going turbo, you'll swap parts and dramatically cut the cost. And last I wish I knew how it sounded. This transmission is taking its sweet time getting here, and my DD's transmission failing has thrown a big monkey wrench in my schedule.

OP if you want to do your car right like you said you did, dont do Flows. Cobra's deserve nothing less than Borla's. Maybe even Bassani or Magnapacks

I have a cheap Doug Thorley catback on my Cobra and I always get compliments on the sound. They are a straight through muffler, and they all pretty much sound the same.
