new here...well I'm new to
Well I'm new to cobra's and I might be getting one it all depends on what you guys can tell me
(I'm always in the v6 section) There's. A 99 cobra for sale round me he's asking 6.5k It has 164k miles 90% highway he clamims The car is in all honesty in great shape it has a scatch but its small really small scratch/smudge... 5spd And its the DOHC 4.6 he said I'm thinking bout picking it up. The only thing keeping me from it is what my bank might say to the amount my payment might be plus my insurance... So. Wats ur take

164k miles is a lot but they do have strong blocks. I'd try and get him down to around 5k if your going to go for it

If it's that close financially I say no dice. The last thing you want to do right now in this market is throw money away on things that you don't need. Save up the cash to buy one outright and by then the value on the car will be down (obviously not the same car). I'd like to think that you could find one with better mileage for just a little bit more.

I'd sell the sixer outright. With a recession and high gas prices, V6 Mustangs are doing OK on holding value.
