Need help before i give in an take it to the stealership...
Threw two codes, both saying i was running lean. My plugs to the first o2 sensors were hanging so naturally i thought that was the problem. Bought a new one moved it around, no more codes, same problem. So as i am in the car watching the idle, trying to see if it will throw any codes, i notice my fuel pressure gauge is only at 9 psi...WTF.
Has a new 255 lph fuel pump/ filter, and bypassed the Vortech boost a pump about 380 miles ago. was running about 40 psi. So as i noticed the 9 psi, i cycled the key to see if i can build pressure. No such luck, turn the key on, kick to 9 psi then dropped...several more times, was only kicking to 4 psi then dropping. Started the car several times, and only got to 9 psi. I can here gas pumping through the line, with a new pump i would like to rule it out, but maybe i got a dud from jegs, and im sure they wont warranty it. Could it by change be the in line fuel pressure regulator..mine is a paxton, its blue, right before the fuel rail? Could my gauge be wrong? I have a mechanical gauge, but the adapter for the autometer removed the stock schrader valve so i cant hook it up. I tried to adjust the puel pressure regulator with the allen screw on top, an no movement in the pressure. I have no f'ing clue and am frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention, it has a new fuel filter, the oil does not smell like gas, and it isnt smoking at all.

I have had problems with the 255 in the past it is not uncommon for these pumps to fail

one test would be to pinch the return line and see if it builds pressure but being that low it is very likely a pump issue.

I guess their way of weaseling out!! new pump from napa has over 5000 miles no problems! never had these problems with the old mechanical pumps and they call it progress?

Could be a failing electrical connection that can't pass enough current. Try tracing back from the fuel pump for any connectors that are loose or have oil dripping on them.

called summit, they say it has a 1 yr warranty, so i ordered a new one, and will return the faulty on for credit.
Postponing the stealership trip till i get the new pump I noticed that i had pinched the return line between the tank and the frame, so hopefully that is what caused the fuel pump to fail, or blow the seal. It is pumping fine, but the system isnt holding pressure. I messed with the paxton fuel pressure regulator, could i have messed something up if it was my pump?

Probably that paxton fuel pressure regulator
get a nice boost referenced pressure regulator and throw that paxton/vortech one in the trash
