probably the traction control. ours is stupid, bogs motor when it thinks the tires aren't spinning equally. If you can disable traction control with a handheld and never look back.

My gto would do this I didnt thing the mustangs were capable of it, lol first thing i do is get my hands on a tuner and disable that crap. Its really embarassing at the track when you forget to turn it off and your car stalls out in the burnout box. (I wouldnt know from experience)

Must be a GM thing lol but no I have the button to turn it on and off, just doesnt make much sense to me, if im going around a corner fast wouldnt I want it on so both tires keep traction, if I turn it off, im afraid I might spin out...I wanna go fast around corners and keep my TC

Yeah man, you should have a traction control switch right next to the fog light switch, behind the shifter.

Try it with TC off first. IMO TC is worthless for any type of racing. Its good if your lady is driving your car in the rain, otherwise turn it off. If it still does it there are a couple other things to look at. Low on gas? Hesitation issue?

No Joe, its been at least half a tank full everytime it happens and I release the clutch halfway through the corner and throttle it and every damn time it bogs lol, im almost wondering if the previous owner had it blown and then when he traded it in put the stock amnifold back on and therefore I need a new tune? I dont too much about that those things lol...

Sooo I tried it without the TC on and that damn thing wants to kick the ass end out from under me everytime now lol, so I guess it was the TC, I guess I was expecting a different reaction from the TC when I took the corners faster, but it just bogs the engine down lol, weird safety device....Thanks for all the help and advice guys...Joe I am still really interested in doing a possible Dyno run, I have never done one before and might be interested in giving it a shot...

The way traction control works in our cars, is with speed sensors on the rear wheels. If it detects a wheel slipping, it just slams on the rear brakes.

It's a terrible system, but I guess it protects people who just mash the pedal 24/7 and don't know how to handle it.

I figured that when you said you slammed second mid corner TC does nothing but piss me off. Sure, we can get you strapped down sometime. I'm booked until next week, and then I'm out of town that weekend for 4 days.
