IAC Problem

I have been having an idling problem with my 96 Cobra. At startup and until the engine gets to running temps it idles fine......but when the engine gets to running temp it idles at 1100 rpm. I have installed a new iac and left the battery unhooked over night but to no avail it still does the same thing. I have even done the smaller hole in the iac gasket thing and it didn't help. Could guys please for the love of god help me with this. Any and all help Would be appreciated. I would just to like it to idle normally for a change.

Have you ever touched anything on the throttle body? Just curious...

No I haven't but there was about 75000 miles on it when I got it. Are you thinking that the previous owners could have done something with that? The funny thing is it idles fine while the a/c is on. (Around 800 rpm ). If the previous owner mest with the idles screw on the tb would it still idle well with the a/c on?

Yes, the previous owner could have messed with the screws. Hard to confirm for a fact...look at the screws and see if there's any sort of tool marks.
