Want to boost, a few qustions


I've been thinking about boosting my Cobra and there's so many options I just need a little clarification. I've been looking at Turbos on ebay and numerous other sites (not really interested in a supercharger, centri or roots) and I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the O3P turbos on ebay, or is running one. Now i've heard alot of bad things about "ebay" turbos, that you're basically throwing your money into a pit and the kits are basically garbage, but I've definitely heard of on 3 performance before, it's obviously no hellion, but I was just wondering if they're worth it. I know there's things the kits don't include, tubular a arms, k member, coil overs, injectors etc. But should I keep the stock fuel pump? And how well do these stock cams work with boost? Also, should I port the heads? Also, this car isn't a DD, but I'm not looking for a all out track car either. Any info and insight would be nice

They just came out with the new forward facing kit for both 2 and 4 valve. You can only order over the phone for now but definetly worth looking into.

A turbo gives a flat torque curve which is way better in a street strip car. On3 makes a good kit and professional instal with custom tune is key. Good luck with your car and respect that power. Your gonna be driving a whole different car when that turbo is in. I prefer a turbo over a supercharger because it uses wasted energy to spin the snail. No parasitic loss. Make sure everything behind it is strong,like your clutch and rear end. You are gonna fall in love with your car all over again.

Several guys have made On 3 Performance kits work, just remember you don't always get what you pay for, but you always pay for what you get.

Really dont hear much about them on 4 valves, i would like to see some pictures and videos of the new forward facing kit on the cobra.
