accelerating problem

The car shifts into gear fine and no problem when not giving it gas but when you accelerate it makes a ehhh sound the whole time and the shifter vibrates any ideas?

is it right after you put it in gear and accelerate? Or just whenever you accelerate in general?

engines just don't start shaking that bad w/o smaller symptoms before...unless it's severe like a lost cylinder, but then your check engine light would be on. is it on? If so...get a code reader give me the codes and i'll let you know what's wrong.
