I always go out the top. I don't feel comfortable with lifting the car that tall at that much of an angle...Looks...well. Scary.
Now if I had a lift...done and done. Out the bottom every time.

not that big of a deal really. last time i lifted the whole car up that high, but had to remove couple more things from engine since it changed level of chin spoiler.
