Cobra overheating after install Meziere pump & radiator

So I installed last week a new mishimoto radiator and a meziere waterpump. Now I have the problem, that my engine runs extreme hot, but the thermometer shows normal temps, it's right in the middle. But the engine is so hot, that I burned myself. But the pump runs, I hear it.

I thought that there is still too much air in the system and a drain the coolant again today. I worked with the "burping the cooling system" how-to on this page. Could it be that I have so luck, that the thermostat got broken??

Because when I start the engine and wait some minutes, I feel that the crossover start to become hot really fast. From there the heat goes down to the thermostat housing and the upper radiator hole. The radiator also become hot around the upper hose hole.

so what could that be?? Thermostat or water pump? Or maybe both??

Thanks for help

if it was water pump you would spill coolant out the cap. i ran the same water pump for years and car ran cooler. i would say double check your wires, do you have them crossed? as in the pump is spinning the wrong direction maybe (reaching on that one). also pull the thurmo out and replace it, its cheap so i would just replace it. also on the driver side there is a threaded in plug. i always unscrew it and fill the coolant into that.

I use the wiring kit for it. The ground is directly on the ground of the battery, the +12V cable (orange) is connected with the alternator and the Switch source is connected with this cable plug thing at the passenger side (dont know the name) with Pin-9. I thought that, that the pump could maybe spinning the wrong direction.

How do I know, that the pump spinning the wrong way?? Should the warm water flow from the crossover to the upper hose into the radiator???
