Been real busy this summer.
Put 4.30s in my mark viii,

And Im about to build my 98 cobra engine, which many of you know I purchased blown.

Well, I took the engine apart, lo and behold, first thing I see are 7/16 arp 12 points on the rod caps when I removed the oil pan!!!:

So basically, unbeknownst to the previous owner, he had a built engine. Manley billet rods, flat top pistons.

I have all my machine work done, and I will start a thread if yall are interested in the build up.

He was a dumbass for sure. When he sold it to me, he told me I gotta move the alternator back to the stock location because it previously had a vortech supercharger on it when he blew it up. (The alternator was in the stock location, between the heads) Plus he was running around 550 hp to the wheels on stock injectors and an FMU..........
