Cobra time

I just bought an 04 cobra, got rid of the 11 sixxer. I was wondering what is the best way to spend about 1000 dollars on the new cobra in yalls opinion? The cobra is completely stock except for the exhaust, has a catback.

I don't have one, but I'm pretty sure the main recommendation is a pulley and a tune, but thats not nearly $1000

a nice short throw shifter will make it feel better.

Well it's a vert so FLSFC's would be a good start.

Then you've got your pick of pulley's, tune, PORT, and you definitely want to put some work into the IRS. Delrin bushings all around and a LFP diff cover or brace would be good ideas to stop wheel hop.

There's some other fun mods you can do as well, like the boost bypass delete, details over on SVTP.

And if you go lower pulley, remember to get a larger alternator pulley as well so you don't fry it.

deff start with a full tilt bush kit and a irs brace. it is kind of a pain in the ass to install but it can be done at home and helps protect the weak link on the car. from there i would invest in flsfc and if the tires are bad replace them as well.

Tires are the first thing to go. Do you happen to have a link to a good bushing kit for her?

i have an sra swap and it is amazing compaired to the irs at the strip.

I am gonna stick with the IRS but I will definitely be getting a bushing kit because this thing has some nasty wheel hop.

I would do the anti venom mod, shifter, delrin bushings, sub frames, irs brace, head cooling mod, and 26 spline input shaft with spec 3+. Then your car will be ready for the fuel, motor, mods and take tons of punishment down the track
