PPRV Delete Materials

I'm getting ready to install my GT pumps and do a PPRV delete at the same time. I see most people use the 30R10 submersible hose, but this has a tendancy to kink.

Has anyone used alternative materials, and if so what kind? I've seen people use brass elbow fittings, as well as some form of steel line. The brass elbow fittings would go where it normally kinks, and the steel line would make up the majority of the lines, with the hose just being a coupler.

I'd be very interested to see if anyone actually used the brass fittings, and what steel tubing people used for the lines. I'd love to go the steel route, but I'm unsure of what grade to use and where to procure it.

easy and cheap way i did my pprv deleat with dual fgt pumps is i removed the clamps holding on the fuel lines to the stock pump and pulled the fuel lines off the stock pumps. then i used the stock fuel lines on the ford gt pumps with fuel line clamps. after that i cut the fuel line with the pprv off the y and removed it from the fuel hat. from there i used the gates fuel hose clamped on to the factory y with a fuel line clamp. then i used a stainless steel U bend

at the other end i hooked the gates submersable fuel hose to the hat using fuel line clamps. no kinks and fits like stock

That U-bend is pretty spiffy. Just what I was looking for. Hopefully I don't destroy my stock hoses during the removal process though.

it took me literaly 5 min to do. on the clamp there is the bump where they crimp it. i just grab the crimp with a pair of needle nose plyers and twist this lets the slack in the clamp then pull it off the pump. the line comming off the Y is just heated on so i just cut threw the hose with a box cutter and pulled the fuel hose off. like i said ford used the best line for the bend off the fuel pump and it does not kink easily so re-use it.
