Wheel spacers that bolt on to the hub.


I heard alot of people saying its good and some saying its bad.. just curious someone would like to explain the good bad and the ugly.. Please =)

Depends. If you are bolting onto the front I would be sure to use the more expensive hub-centric spacer. If going on the rear the cheaper spacers are fine.

I just don't trust the non-hub centric ones on the front for some reason.

Good: you can use wheels that would elsewise have too much offset.

Bad: most people use them just for looks with no concept of how they affect your geometry. Also, they're added unsprung weight, and another point of failure.

Ugly: yes they are if you have a wheel where you can see them.

I bought some 1 inch spacers to put skinnies on the front of my mach and the studs stuck out past the spacer and hit the wheel. I was like Wtf! How do people get it to work with out cutting some of the studs off?
