Possiblity of Vortech, No aftercooler, on a Mach 1

Ive come across this a few times finally decided to just ask about it.
American Muscle Vortech Supercharger for Mach 1
It in my budget, I know it does not have an aftercooler, but it seems to me that only 7.5-8.5 PSI, as it says on the website, wouldnt be all that horrible. I know id need Injectors, pump and such. My main question is basically, would it handle it without an aftercooler?

I wouldnt do it, given i have a 97 cobra but thought the same thing about the kenny bell setup that doesnt have an intercooler... why bother? taking to much of a risk. so i spent the pretty penny on the procharger kit. i think if i could do it all over again id just piece one together my self. probably save a grand or two. as fas as i know the only reason that vortech is for a mach is the mounting bracket. id just get on the forums and look for a blower then contact who makes it and buy the bracket from them. put together your own tubing and elbows. buy an intercooler and make it work. or just spend a little more and get one with an intercooler. just my 2cents.. the nice thing about a blower is you change the pulley and you get more boost.... and trust me youre going to eventually want to change it. might as well have the intercooler already installed
